And heeeeere’s Timothy! Greetings blogosphere! I’m sorry, what was that? You were wondering when I was going to show up? Come on now, you know me, it’s all about the timing…

Speaking of time, I was recently thinking back to the year 1995. It was the year I graduated from Fort Collins High School. Yep, I was bidding a fond farewell to good ole Lambkin-country, and, yes, that is the actual mascot ha!  But, why was I specifically thinking about my former Lambkin glory days? Was it sheer nostalgia? Nope, a buddy of mine I had graduated with had recently gotten married in Mexico. He and his bride were having a celebration and it just so happened he knew I took a few pictures here and there (just a few, right? ha!), and honored me by requesting I be the photographer for the event.

Flash forward to January 28, 2017 to find yours truly, my friend, Justin, and his beautiful bride, Kelly, at the Kansas City Union Station to celebrate their wedding. What a fantastic day! We were so fortunate to be there during a peaceful moment, which is rare in the life of a busy train station. There were very few people which made it an ideal time for creative photography! They were so easy to photograph they made my job easy!

The fun continued later at Boulevard Brewery with bartenders serving beer on tap it helped loosen up the guests. It was such a good time that, sadly, it was over before I knew it! It was truly a great time so, naturally, their’s is the wedding I’d like to use to kick-off my online arrival. I am excited to share a glimpse of this fun-loving, wonderful couple, their special day, hilarious friends and family and some of the magical memories captured.
