McKenna & Andrew’s Colorful Hacienda Del Sol Wedding Overflowed with Joy and Style
Nestled in the golden Tucson foothills, Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort set the stage for one of the most vibrant and emotionally charged weddings I’ve ever photographed. McKenna and Andrew’s day became a cinematic love story, unfolding through layers of laughter, texture, movement, and deep connection.
From the first frame, the day pulsed with energy.
The Calm Before the Color Storm
In separate rooms filled with anticipation, the morning began with quiet, soulful moments. McKenna, in a robe and rollers, shared joyful tears with her bridesmaids as they hugged and reassured one another before the whirlwind ahead. The delicate lace of her veil echoed timeless elegance, while bold lipstick and glam details hinted at the stylish, fashion-forward bride she truly is.
Meanwhile, Andrew and his bestman adjusted his bowtie – a groom rooted in quiet confidence. The simple prep perfectly contrasted the high energy to follow.
The Wedding Party That Brought the Vibes
The wedding party brought both style and emotion. McKenna’s bridesmaids, in matching satin pajamas, started the day with a newspaper toss and infectious joy. Laughter, champagne, and pure sisterhood filled the room.
Over with the groomsmen? Controlled chaos in tuxedos. In a whirlwind of hugs, fake tackles, and loud celebration, one groomsman gave a toast while Andrew was hoisted and supported – literally and emotionally – by his closest friends. Their high-fives and laughter set the tone for the day.
An Explosion of Color and Commitment
The ceremony space at Hacienda Del Sol came alive in a way that perfectly reflected McKenna and Andrew – vibrant, textured, and unapologetically bold. Masses of colorful florals framed the altar, dripping in warm pinks, oranges, and corals that glowed in the golden hour sun.
As McKenna walked down the aisle in her beaded gown, Andrew’s face said everything. Tears. Awe. Gratitude. Love. Their vows weren’t just spoken, they were felt, from the front row to the last chair.
Citrus, Color, and Handcrafted Beauty
Tables were adorned with floral illustrations, orange slices, and delicate blooms, a Tucson garden party meets high-end editorial. Every detail – from artful signage to hand-selected glassware – expressed personality, letting aesthetics tell the story.
Editorial Romance Meets Desert Light
At sunset, we stepped away for couple-only portraits, where McKenna and Andrew’s essence truly shone.
She rested her head on his chest, and he kissed her forehead with both strength and softness; the world slowed down. Their silhouettes glowed under the warm Arizona light, and every frame felt like it belonged in a magazine spread.
First Dances & Dance Floor Feels
The night ended not with a whisper, but with a roar of laughter, twirls, dips, and champagne-fueled joy. McKenna danced like no one was watching (but we were, and it was electric). Her smile, her movement, and her absolute presence were magnetic. This wasn’t just a party – it was a finale worthy of the love they built.
